When the autumn air in Columbia, SC begins to smell like funnel cake and carnival lights can be seen from all directions, it can mean only one thing - the South Carolina State Fair is in full swing once again!
Celebrating its 145th year this October, the South Carolina State Fair, named one of the top 50 fairs in the nation, just announced an exceptional music lineup. Here's the list:
Marshall Tucker Band with Say Brother - Wednesday, October 8 at 7pm; Free with fair admission
Shovels & Rope - Thursday, October 9 at 7pm; Free with fair admission
Jennifer Nettles - Friday, October 10 at 7pm; $30
Lee Brice - Saturday, October 11 at 7pm; $20
Fred Hammond - Sunday, October 12 at 7pm; Free with fair admission
ZZ Top - Wednesday, October 15 at 7pm; $30
Britt Nicole with Citizen Way - Friday, October 17 at 7pm; Free with fair admission
MC Hammer - Sunday, October 19 at 7pm; Free with fair admission
Tickets will be available for purchase Monday, August 18, at 10 am on www.scstatefair.org.
Outside of these incredible musical performances, guests can enjoy dozens of rides, art, livestock competitions, comedians, magicians, crafty culinary creations and much more! Plus, this year's State Fair will also be completely pink, as the fair partners with local organizations to raise awareness about breast cancer.
