Select a picnic bench set amongst the shady trees and strings of cafe lights on the patio of Steel Hands Brewing and enjoy some easy drinking with the mango, passionfruit and papaya flavors found in the Tropical IPA, or their Juicy IPA that’s bursting with a tangerine haze.
Columbia Craft Brewing Company
Columbia Craft in the Vista might be most recognized for their various sours, but don’t sleep on their IPAs. If you're lucky you'll be there at the right time to try the Kos - a 9.1% ABV Norwegian-style double dry-hopped DIPA that tastes of melon and peach gummies. Or, taste the Brutally Honest Brut IPA (which is truly the champagne of beers), or their award-winning Hop to Trot Hazy IPA. Then take home a four pack of the newly-canned Past Tense West Coast IPA.
Twisted Spur Brewing
Calling all daredevils! See if you have what it takes to tackle the El Diablo - a habanero-infused version of Twisted Spur's traditional Twisted IPA (limited release). Can’t stand the heat? Then test your compatibility with the Tall, Dark and Hoppy - an IPA brewed with black malt.
Angry Fish Brewing Co.
One might argue than an IPA is best paired with a day out on the lake. So pack your cooler with a couple of growlers from Angry Fish before hitting the water. The Just One More Knot and Waimea Kohatu IPAs feature profiles of pineapple, pine and citrus or lime, respectively, and provide all the refreshment you’ll need.

Perhaps you’re more of a traditionalist when it comes to IPAs. Then keep it classic at the historic Curtiss-Wright Hangar with the no-frills Amarillo IPA, DIPA or Hazy IPA.
