It's Spring, and in that means an abundance of reasons to get outside and enjoy Columbia and its three rivers. It also means festivals, festivals and more festivals. The River Rocks Festival will bring springtime and festivals together to enjoy Columbia's rivers. Come to Riverfront Park from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm to enjoy music, food, fun and the river!
The Columbia region has the unique bragging rights of three rivers in the middle of a metropolitan area. River Rocks realizes this and incorporates the natural environment into a celebration of the arrival of Spring. A few of the many cool things that you can expect, include:
â?¢Interactive environmental education activities
â?¢Demonstrations from Birds of Prey
â?¢Canoeing, Kayaking and Stand Up Paddleboarding with local outfitters
â?¢A Stand-Up Paddleboard Race with prizes
â?¢Great live music (Toubab Krewe, Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Town Mountain, Black Iron Gathering, and The Restoration),
â?¢Family fun (bounce houses, rock climbing wall, balloon art and more)
Additionally, a celebration of the outdoors would not be complete without a focus on preserving Columbia's natural environment. As part of festival organizers' commitment to reducing their carbon footprint, they will be buying energy credits to offset energy used to power the stage.
