The Ribs & Renaissance Festival is back and ready to spice up your summer festival season. Just like a secret barbeque sauce recipe, the Eau Claire Community Council is blending film, food and family fun to bring you an excellent community event. Everyone is invited and admission is free, so bring your family and friends to the Ribs & Renaissance Festival from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm this Saturday, June 2, 2012.
The Film:
A mini film festival will take place at the Eau Claire Print Building, featuring family-friendly films such as The Red Shoes and KIRIKOU & the Sorceress.
The Food:
Various food vendors will be available to delight attendees' palates. There will also be a BBQ Throw down featuring some of Columbia's best chefs competing for the Golden Q award.
The Fun:
There will be two stages supplying entertainment. Headlining the main stage is Grammy award winner, Dwele and a recycle fashion show presented by Eau Claire High school on the community stage. View a full schedule of performers. The KidZone offers carnival rides and educational games for children while adults can get fit with a Zumba exhibition and healthy cooking demonstrations.
