Opening Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012, the City of Columbia introduces Main Street Ice at Boyd Plaza, just outside Columbia Museum of Art!
Main Street Ice is free on opening day! After you stuff your belly with turkey and all the fixin's, enjoy free admission on Thanksgiving Day from 5:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. Regular admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under, and skate rental included with admission.
Open every day through January 21, 2013*:
Monday - Thursday, 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday & Saturday, 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm
*Main Street Ice will be closed Christmas Day.
Regular Admission: $10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under (includes skate rental).
Special senior and military discounts are available. For more information or to make large group reservations, call the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department at 803.545.3100.
As if that isn't exciting in itself, add ice skating on your agenda as you hit other big events on Main Street! Main Street Ice will be open during events like the weekly Soda City Market, December's First Thursday on Main and Famously Hot New Year 2013! Speaking of, have you registered for your free ticket to the celebration or booked your hotel for New Year's Eve?
