The Fort Jackson Independence Day CelebrationStar Spangled Symphonic Salute and Lake Murray's Patriotic Boat Parade and Fireworks Celebration will make you proud to be an American this Saturday. Families can celebrate the birth of our nation together at EdVenture's Red, White & Blue Blast, the Lexington County Peach Festival or at a Lexington County Blowfish Baseball & Fireworks Show. Beat the heat by popping in to the South Carolina State Museum's planetarium for a dazzling light display at Laser Salute to America.

The New Adventure Hot Spot
Summer is all about getting outside and enjoying the sunshine and warmth of the season. Zoom down a 1,000-ft. water slide at Slide the City, then stick around for the Capital City Beach Party! Cool off by taking to the waters of Lake Murray or kayaking or tubing down one of our three rivers. Spend an evening outdoors under the stars watching Home at the Free Outdoor Summer Movie Series.
