The New Holiday Hot Spot

Enjoy the long weekend and spend some extra time outdoors! Go kayaking on one of the rivers, set sail on Lake Murray or take a trip to Congaree National Park to see the rare phenomenon of the fireflies synchronizing their flashes.

In honor of Memorial Day, attend 2016 Memorial Day Solemn Commemoration & Heritage Celebration to pay respect. For military families, enjoy EdVenture's Military Appreciation Day with special admission prices.

Alternately, you can get some morning fresh air at Soda City Market, listen to live music at Rhythm on the River or catch some of America's favorite pastime at the Lexington Blowfish Alumni Game.

Finally, both Riverbanks Zoo & Garden and South Carolina State Museum will be open on Memorial Day!
