Monday through Friday and the first Saturday of every month, tour the South Carolina State House starting at 9:30 am. Each hour on the half hour, you can tour the State House and get a historical look inside its development. Read our State House blog for a sneak preview. Free.

Jam at Three Rivers Music Festival
3 Rivers Music Festival is back! And it kicks off a two-weekend event Saturday, July 6, with the Gospel Stage in St. Andrews Park. JMoss, Kathy Taylor and other gospel acts will entertain the whole family at this free event. Vendors will sell food, drinks, and souvenirs.

Catch a national treasure at The Nick
Take patriotic spirit to the theatre. Nickelodeon Theatre continues its National Treasures series this Fourth of July weekend with Chinatown, the neonoir classic from 1974 (starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway) that will have you on the edge of your seat. Water plays an interesting factor in a murder scheme that a private detective uncovers after investigating an affair. Tickets are $8.00

Root for the home team
The Columbia Blowfish take on the Gastonia Grizzles on Thursday, Forest City Owls on Friday and the Fayetteville SwampDogs on Saturday. On Saturday, kids can play catch on the field if they bring a ball and glove. Then fireworks round out both nights!
