Take a look inside the State House
The majestic South Carolina State House is open for tours this Saturday. Learn more about the building’s unique history and the various aspects of South Carolina government. Tours begin at 9:30 am and run every hour on the half hour, except for 12:30 pm. Free admission.
Art, Drink and Be Happy!
The semi-regular Arts & Draughts features beautiful art, local musicians and craft beer samples at the Columbia Museum of Art. $8 for nonmembers, $5 for members

It’s Homecoming Weekend in Gamecock Country! Show some school spirit by joining the USC community at the annual Homecoming parade on Friday. Then continue showing some “famously hot and cocky” pride on Saturday while cheering the Gamecocks to victory as they battle the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
