The New Artistic Hot Spot
Immerse yourself in the arts this weekend! The Columbia Museum of Art currently has three traveling exhibitions on display right now - Georgia O'Keeffe: Her Carolina StoryIndependent Spirits: Women Artists of South Carolina and The Art of Joseph Norman - so check them out before they're gone! Be sure to also pop over to the South Carolina State Museum for Time and Place: The Artwork of James Fowler Cooper. Fans of live music will enjoy seeing "Columbia Winter JazzFest," or Ralph Stanley II Concert. Spend an evening out at the theatre! You can catch productions of "The Illusionists," "A Christmas Story," or La Périchole (Offenbach) this weekend. In need of a good laugh? Catch STITCHES Clean Comedy or one of comedian J.J. Williamson's shows at The Comedy House. For goods to take home, peruse Soda City Market for handmade artisanal products or the Church Bazaar at Spring Valley Presbyterian Church for their auction, art show and yard sale!
