The New Southern Hot Spot
With famously hot weather and a slew of seasonal events and activities scheduled, there's no excuse not to get out and explore Columbia's offerings this weekend!

Summer sports are in full swing. Hit one out of the park with the Lexington County Blowfish, play the popular games of the past at Historic Columbia presents Victorian Tailgating, run and rave at The Glo Run or make waves on Lake Murray at Weekend With The Pros.

Are you a film fanatic or a music maestro? Whichever your preference, spend an evening kicking back on the grass for either the Summer Movie Series or the Summer Concert Series.

Finally, you can cool off indoors while enjoying EdVenture's Summertime Saturdays, getting your fill at the Columbia Shrimp & Grits Festival or catching a production of "The Testament of Mary."
