Patrons and Friends of the Arts at Ebenezer, Inc. will play host to one of the Southeast’s top polka bands, featuring delicious local German food provided by the Wurst Wagen and ice-cold brews from Smoked.
Since 2009, Mountain Top Polka Band has been celebrating German culture through music and dance. MTP started as a small group from a Lutheran church in western North Carolina providing Oktoberfest entertainment. The word quickly spread that the group played the German genre and the rest is history. Mountain Top Polka Band has had 16 members since its inception and in 2021 has six members: Hans (tuba, saxophone, alphorn, bass, cowbells), Lula (accordion, keys), Heather (lead vocal, accordion), Kevin (aux. percussion, guitar, cowbells), Nick (drums), and Adam (vocal, clarinet, cowbells).
This concert is free and open to the public; food and beverage will be available for sale.
