Thursday, January 27 | Reception 6:00 p.m. | Talk 7:00 p.m.
John Sanders and Brandon Pace of Sanders Pace Architecture share stories of Knoxville, Tennessee’s past, present, and future through a series of projects that illustrate how social, economic, and cultural circumstances shaped the city’s 20th-century development and how those forces inform their firm’s design process. The talk focuses on recent public and private redevelopment projects in Knoxville’s city-center neighborhoods and how these projects have challenged local convention and heightened awareness of important issues within previously neglected parts of the city. Reception includes light hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine.
$10 / Free for Columbia Design League (CDL) members.
