Head just outside of downtown Columbia for this two day festival! The 16th Annual Swampfest at the Congaree is a two-day fall event and a unique opportunity to celebrate the nature, the people, and the rich heritage of Lower Richland County. People from all over travel to this event. Friday night's event is the Down Home BBQ, Blues and Southern Soul Concert. This is an outside event but it is tented and covered. RV Clubs also arrive from across the states. Each year this event is packed to capacity, we hope to see you this year!
October 5th at 7:00 PM is the Down Home BBQ Blues & Southern Soul Concert, always occurs on Friday evenings at the Historic Harriet Barber House & Grounds, 116 Barberville Loop, at Lower Richland Boulevard off Garners Ferry Road, Hopkins, SC 29061. Just 11 Miles outside Columbia, SC! Rain or shine!
This years spectacular event will feature national and local recording artists plus food and drink vendors from across the southeast with a Pig Pickin & Oyster Roast!!
October 6th: 9:00 AM at the Congaree National Park and at 11:00 am at the festival site on the yard of Old Mount Moriah Site & Grouds, a wide array of major and local inspirational recording artists (singers, bands, dancers, instrumentalists, etc.), will perform. See website for full lineup.
