Free Silent Film with Live Music! "The Yellow Ticket" explores Jewish life in Tsarist Russia, with a live score by Grammy-winner Alicia Svigals and Canadian pianist Marilyn Lerner. With silent film star, Pola Negri, the film offers a unique footage of Warsaw's Jewish community before the Nazis. Svigals is largely responsible for the revival of Klezmer music in the United States. We're marking a centennial of this extraordinary film that builds a bridge to a different era.
