Hey y'all! As a blogger, wardrobe stylist, and Columbia native, I'm tapped into all things style, food, and fun in our sweet city. Columbia has my heart and serves as inspiration for my work as a young government professional and for my blog and business, Prissy with Pearls. On a weekday or a weekend, you can find me dining, shopping, and enjoying all that the city as to offer. So say hello and stay connected by following me at @prissy_with_pearls!

Devine STREET: When it comes to supporting local businesses, Devine Street is a great place to start. Lined with trees and welcoming business owners, you can truly spend a whole day here. Start at Azalea Coffee to kick things off with a caffeine buzz before heading down the street to Slate for the latest styles.

Pro Tip: Azalea Coffee's signature drinks are named after prominent women like the 9-5 for Dolly Parton and the First Lady for Michelle Obama.

Hidden GEM: You might not expect it, but Columbia has transformed into a foodie oasis. From the vendors at Soda City on Saturdays to every corner packed with diverse food options, you'll find everything from soul food to vegan, each with their own distinct flair.

Pro Tip: Don't be afraid to venture beyond downtown. We love to celebrate with dinner out at Alodia's or Sapori.

Get OUTSIDE: Riverfront Park is stunning and perfect whether you're taking a romantic stroll before dinner, biking, jogging or just need a change of scenery.

Treat YOURSELF: When you need to treat yourself, Pout is a beauty-lover’s dream come true. Their helpful staff is ready to help you pick out a new product, pamper you with a facial or help you get ready for a special night out.

Dining OUT: For Sunday brunch, Tazza Kitchen is a must. It’s great for everything from celebrations with the family or brunch with the girls. Their bar is always pouring creative cocktails that are almost too beautiful to drink…almost.

Pro Tip: If you have to wait for a table at Tazza, Trenholm Plaza is a great spot for shopping.
