COLUMBIA, S.C. - (May 11, 2011) - The Hilton® Columbia Center has been recognized as AAA Approved Four Diamond
lodging. The Hilton Columbia Center is now the only hotel in Columbia to carry
this prestigious rating, and one of only approximately 25 hotels in South
Carolina. AAA Approved lodging must meet strict quality guidelines relative to
cleanliness, comfort, security, and safety. Four Diamond lodging is considered
upscale in all areas and offers extensive amenities and a high degree of
hospitality, service, and attention to detail.
This listing distinguishes the Hilton Columbia Center among
some of the most exclusive hotels in North America. Over 31,000 properties are
AAA Approved, but only four percent are presented with the prestigious honor of
being considered Four Diamond. The property listing for the Hilton Columbia
Center will appear in the 2012 edition of the AAA South Carolina TourBook Guide.
