Icehouse Amphitheater: The opening of the Icehouse Amphitheater in 2016 signaled a major move in the redevelopment of this downtown. Located on the site of a former icehouse, the 900-seat open air venue is home to the Lexington Live concert series, as well as host to outdoor festivals, art showcases, community events and major performances, including Edwin McCain & Sister Hazel. It’s the perfect place for a date night or family fun under the stars.

An upscale, yet inviting atmosphere greets you at the door and stays with you through every course. It fuses creative & artistically prepared dishes with delectable tastes. Try the pork belly steamed buns to start before you dig into the shrimp pad Thai to complete your authentic experience.

Keg Cowboy: When a tagline is, "No Crap on Tap" you've come to the right place. Settle into a barstool with a world class brew, including local favorites, and take in some grub from their daily changing food menu. With four types of bread and mozzarella made fresh daily, the Monday night pizza lineup is surely something you don't want to miss.

Lexington County Museum: Step into the Midlands’ past at the Lexington County Museum, which offers a glimpse of local life between 1770 through the Civil War. Spread out across seven acres and with 36 historic structures like the Lexington County Post Office, the oldest documented house in Lexington, and the spot where “Give Me That Old Time Religion” was composed. The ten-room John Fox House dates back to 1932 and depicts life in the mid-nineteenth century. Don’t miss the Wadlington Pigeon House (1957) which would have held 55 pairs of breeding pigeons (once used for food). Grab a map for a self-guided tour (with audio stops) or take a guided tour with a costumed tour guide who will take you on a deeper dive into Lexington County’s past.

The Haven Coffee House: Boasting an inviting atmosphere, dynamite eats, and the aromas of coffee that's brewed in-house, The Haven Coffee House is a place you may never want to leave. Lexington County Blowfish Baseball: Hailing from Columbia, the popular 90s band Hootie & The Blowfish became the inspiration for the name of a baseball team that has been operating in Columbia for decades. The team is steeped in tradition, using wooden bats to this day. Head to their modern facility for a vibrant atmosphere, traditional concessions, and tons of family-fun.
