On February 19, the Koger Center for the Arts welcomes Heather McMahan to Columbia SC for the very first time. Her ironically named Farewell Tour has fans donning animal print (if you know, you know) and gearing up for a night of, as Heather calls it, "giggles and laughter and just being unapologetic about what we've all been through and what we're still going through these last few years."
Her show brings the perfect opportunity for a much needed, and perhaps long overdue, girls night out. (intro) "I will go out in head-to-toe Lululemon sweats and just get a deep tissue massage and then go drink a dirty martini at a fabulous steakhouse," shares Heather. "That's a girls night out to me. That's my perfect night out."
If you're looking to experience Heather's iconic duo of massages and martinis in Columbia SC, we recommend booking a relaxing evening at OCCO Spa in the Vista before heading to Halls or Hendrix on Main Street for a round of martinis.
Just be sure to close out your tab before making your way to Koger Center by 8pm for Heather's Columbia SC debut. To her Columbia fans, she says, "This is a time to kick your feet up and relax because we're all in this together and I truly believe laughter is the best medicine." Grab your tickets to the show on the Koger Center website.
If you can't make it to the show, you can still laugh along with Heather on her weekly podcast, Absolutely Not. "We have the Absolutely Not Line which is this hotline where people can call in and tell us anything that they want to complain about and we - I say 'we,' it's just me in my basement - take on the problems of the world." We also hear she's working on a TV show about her life, so be sure to keep an eye out for that as well!
