We may be biased, but we think the masters of all things brewed and delicious can be found here in the heart of SC. From hoppy IPAs to creamy stouts and mouth-watering sours, Columbia brews are obsession worthy (Just ask their loyal following). And while we love the classics, we can’t get enough of the seltzers and seasonal delights that have hit the scene this summer. If you’re ready to switch up your go-to with something fruity or frozen, we’ve got you covered.

Columbia Craft

Brightly colored sours are being poured year-round at Columbia Craft Brewery and their watermelon version, Alien Hat, has quickly become a local favorite. They describe this tart brew as jolly rancher-esque, and frankly we can't get enough. Pick up one of these cute pink and green cans at local beverage stores like Craft and Draft or find it on tap at their brewery.

Steel Hands Brewing

Steel Hands Brewing is known for its infused creations. The Coffee Lager has a fierce cult following, and their perfectly crafted seasonals are always a crowd-pleaser. The Raspberry Lemonade Ale and the Peach Iced Tea Ale should be experienced with BBQ and live music or savored on a warm evening front porch sippin’.

Twisted Spur

Down in The Vista, Twisted Spur is serving up something blended and chilled to help beat the South Carolina heat. Sweet and tangy, these oh-so-refreshing Sour Beer Slushies are sure to quench your thirst. Grab a seat on their covered outdoor patio and cool off with fruity flavors like White Peach Raspberry and Pina Colada.

Angry Fish Brewing Co.

There’s nothing quite like biting into a ripe peach during the peak of summer or scooping into a pint of fresh peach ice cream. But Angry Fish Brewing Co. comes close with bottling that joy into their Gilbert Peach. Made in Lexington, this American Wheat Ale is infused with locally grown, tree-ripened peaches to create a taste that brings back sweet summer memories with every sip.
