It’s summertime and the sippin’ is easy with these seasonal offerings from a few of our local breweries. (Anyone else suddenly parched?)

Columbia Craft

Pull up a seat at one of the outdoor picnic tables at Columbia Craft and stave off the summer heat with a sweet and tart Alien Hat Watermelon Gose, a tropical Pina Colada Sour Ale, award-winning Carolinian Blonde Ale made with a kiss of honey malt or the Tradicional, a Mexican Style Lager that pairs great with a lime wedge.

Steel Hands

Fruit-forward fermentations like the Raspberry Lemon Witbier, Lime Golden Ale and upcoming Juicy IPA keep things light and crisp at Steel Hands in Cayce. Bonus, stop by on a Friday night for the Summer Grillin’ Series, serving up different cookout favorites while supplies last. Because nothing says summer quite like a cold beer and a fired-up grill.

Cottontown Brew Lab

Kick back at Cottontown Brew Lab for some easy drinking. Pucker up with two tart new additions to the tap list - a Cherry, Pineapple, Coconut Kettle Sour and a Boysenberry Peach Kettle Sour. And options like a Margarita Gose, Rosé Lager and Pineapple Milkshake IPA are just plain fun and isn’t that what summer’s all about?

Angry Fish

With their proximity to the lake and bait shop-inspired taproom, Angry Fish exudes summer vibes all year long.

But catch the Sunny Daze IPA, Shoo Shoo Baybee Dreamsicle Wheat, Sadie’s Super Sassy Lemon Grassy Kolsch, Abby’s Ale Cherry Lime Wheat Ale, Gilbert Peach Wheat or Maui Cove Pale Ale on tap and there won’t be any doubts in mind as to what time of year it is.
