Vista Lights

The Vista starts to shimmer a little extra during Vista Lights - a kickoff to the holiday season that highlights the best of The Vista’s art galleries and retail shops, as well as brings merriment in the form of live performances and great bites and sips on November 16th.

57th Annual Governor’s Carolighting

Each year the Governor invites people to gather at the capitol for the annual lighting of the state Christmas tree. Head to the state house grounds on Sunday, November 19th from 6 to 9 pm to enjoy performances from South Carolina artists such as the Synergy Twins, Mark Rapp Group, Marlena Smalls and the Hallelujah Singers, and more, before the countdown to the lighting of the tree.

Holiday Lights on the River

When there’s a chill in the air, take in the Holiday Lights on the River display at Saluda Shoals Park, starting November 23 and running through December 31. Stay in the warmth of your car with hot chocolate and snacks as you wind through the sparkling displays.

Wild Lights at Riverbanks Zoo

‘Twas the night before Wild Lights and all through the zoo, the animals were stirring and people were, too. From November 17 to January 14, Riverbanks Zoo and Garden will put on a magical display of twinkling lights of every color, and in every shape of animal, that captures your imagination and instantly gets you in the holiday spirit.

Carolina Lights

Load up the car and cruise through the South Carolina State Fair for Carolina Lights from December 8-24 (except Mondays). Bonus: Cookies and milk will be available for purchase half way through the show to make the experience even more magical.

Fireflies Holiday Lights

Beginning November 16 Segra Park lights up creating a winter wonderland. Come enjoy visits with Santa, s'more fire pit, Christmas trees for sale and so much more.
