Locally Lexington

Lexington is arguably one of South Carolina’s best-kept secrets. Located just outside the heart of downtown Columbia, you’ll find plenty to explore, but it’s the culinary scene that will have you coming back for more. Get to know some of Lexington’s outstanding food & drink joints, then plan a weekend getaway to experience them for yourself.

Hazelwood Brewing Company

The Columbia region has quickly grown into a beer-lover’s paradise. You could spend a whole day hopping from one brewery to the other, sampling all the flavors the heart of SC has to offer. But a tour through the Columbia brewery scene wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Hazelwood. With an emphasis on using local ingredients and preaching “from farm to pint,” sustainability is the name of the game at this farm-style Lexington brewery founded in 2018. Come visit their taproom and sprawling outdoor space at the Old Mill.

O’Hara’s Public House

This Irish pub will give you cozy vibes, cold beer, and new friends. Located in the middle of Lexington's Main Street, the locals at O'Hara's have never met a stranger. The menu features Irish classics like Corned Beef and Cabbage and Bangers and Mash, but you’ll also find American comfort foods and a robust drink menu. The authentic food and pub atmosphere will make you feel like you’re far from South Carolina.

Bodhi Thai Dining

Bodhi Thai is the ultimate spot for an authentic Thai cuisine experience. Not only is the restaurant stunning with an upscale and elegant atmosphere, but the food is also fresh, cutting edge, and delicious. Chef and Owner Nivit Tipvaree is a native of Nakhon Sawan, Thailand, and uses his knowledge of Thai, Sushi, and French culinary techniques to inspire his inventive creations.

Keg Cowboy

When a tagline is "No Crap on Tap," you've come to the right place. Keg Cowboy will keep you on your toes with their frequently updated beer list. You’ll rarely find the same keg twice in one month, so you’ll surely never get bored. Enjoy world-class beers and a state-of-the-art kitchen to match. While away a few hours with brews and bites at this Lexington favorite.

Momma Rabbit’s Nibbles & Sips

If you’re looking for a healthy and hearty meal that reminds you of home, Momma Rabbit’s is the place to go. Sibling-owned (8 siblings, to be exact), this Lexington spot serves up everything from loaded salads and sandwiches to brunch classics.

Old Mill Brewpub

Located inside Lexington’s Historic Old Mill, Old Mill Brewpub is the perfect place to unwind after exploring Lexington. Start off with an order of creamy collard and bacon dip or fried pork skins sprinkled with mesquite dry rub and house made hot sauce. Try one of Old Mills’ own brews, like the Strawberry Lemon-Ale or 10-year Anniversary Barleywine. Selections change seasonally, so don't be shy - ask a local for expert picks.

Antai Asian Dining

Translating to “in good health,” Antai’s name reflects its mission of preparing authentic and nourishing dishes with the freshest ingredients. You’ll enjoy their robust menu of classic Asian cuisine and some of the best sushi in Lexington. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff will make you feel right at home.
