Soda City Market

The place to see and be seen on Saturday mornings in Columbia is at the Soda City Market, which features the most creative, the most local, and the most delicious that the Midlands has to offer, smack in the middle of Main Street! Stretching from one to three blocks depending on the season, the market draws people from all walks of life to enjoy time in the hub of the city. This producer-only market is where you can soak up all of the tastes and cultures on tap here in the capital city.

150 vendors line the 1300-1500 blocks of Main Street on average each week. From 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. you can browse and shop all things SC hand-crafted and grown, fill up your belly with a melting-pot of food offerings, and meet some of Columbia's most musically talented as they perform in the street. Special events like Oktoberfest and Soda City Suds and Spuds bring out a lot of extra fun when beer and wine is on tap to enjoy while roaming, gathering microgreens and macarons for the week ahead.

Due to COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing is required while visiting the market to ensure the safest possible experience for all guests. Before you go, be sure to check the Soda City Market website to confirm current safety guidelines.
