Check out offerings from multiple Main Street businesses all in one go during First Thursday on Main. Get your seafood on at the Columbia Shrimp & Grits Festival or the Southeast Crab Feast. Enjoy several courses of local cuisine amidst charming farm atmosphere at the June Harvest Dinner. Can’t decide on a spot to grab brunch? Check out Brookland Brunch every Sunday and have your pick from several vendors set up alongside the river. Set your watch to island time as South Carolina Caribbean Culture is taking over with a Food Fest, Parade, Block Party, After Party AND Punch’d – The Rum Punch Party in downtown Columbia. Or, simply stock up on goods to take home at Soda City Market and the City Roots Farmers Market.

As Spring turns to Summer, cool off in the waters of Lake Murray at Drift Jam – Flotilla Music Festival, The World’s Largest Floating Music Festival or within the air-conditioned confines of a dark, quiet theatre as Trustus Theatre Presents “HIR” and “Memphis.” Polish off your cowboy boots! Travis Tritt is performing at Township Auditorium. Don’t you just love outdoor concert season? You won’t want to miss Sister Hazel taking the stage at Icehouse Amphitheatre. Prepare to dance at Baker & Baker presents Latin Caravan – CMA Global Sunday Edition. Finally, it may not be “live,” per se, but it’s still the greatest show! Sing along to a special screening of The Greatest Showman at Icehouse Amphitheatre. Take the family to see Paddington 2 during the June installment of the Twilight in the Garden series at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden or The Emoji Movie, Peter Rabbit and Hoodwinked for the Finlay Park Summer Movie Series.

Well now’s your chance! Pop in to the CMA Yard Sale and see what treasures you find. You be the artist at Passport to Art: A Voyage with a View – CMA Global Sunday Edition. Get a glimpse at the South Carolina State Museum’s archives with their latest exhibit, Fill in the Gap, or take a trip through history with South Carolina and Reconstruction, 1865 – 1876. This month is also your last chance to see the SC Fellows Part II Artists’ Exhibition at 701 Center for Contemporary Art, so don’t miss out!
