For a taste of fresh Louisiana-grown crawfish served in the heart of South Carolina with a side of music and good times, look no further than the Rosewood Crawfish Festival.
On May 6, 2023 the Rosewood Merchants Association will present the 15th annual Rosewood Crawfish Festival with two stages of bands, artisan vendors and plateful upon plateful of succulent crawfish. Here’s what you need to know.
Date
May 6, 2023
Time
11am-7pm
Location
South Carolina State Fairgrounds
Cost
Tickets are $10; Parking is $5; Food can be purchased inside the festival for an additional charge. A plate of crawfish served with corn and potatoes is $20.
Music
Sing along with the sounds of Edwin McCain, Jupiter Coyote and more on two performance stages. Music begins at noon with She Might Get Loud and Lang Owen.
Food
New this year is the option to purchase a table filled with crawfish for you and your friends. And if you don’t love crawfish, there will be plenty of other vendors offering both sweet and savory options including Cajun delights like Gumbo, Jambalaya and Boudin Sausage as well as traditional food truck fare.
Fun
A kids’ area with rides, inflatables, face painting and more will occupy the youngest festival-goers. An artist village showcases unique gifts (and maybe something for yourself) from over 25 local and regional artists.
